Liverpool FC have released the following travel information for supporters planning to attend the Capital One Cup final meeting with Manchester City at Wembley Stadium on Sunday February 28.

Important Information:

The club’s ticket allocation for this fixture is sold out. Supporters are advised not to travel to Wembley without a valid match ticket. Please ensure that you keep your ticket safe.

Tickets will not be available on the day of the game. Please do not travel if you do not have a ticket for the game as it is sold out. Ticket refund requests will not be considered for this fixture.

Liverpool FC does not condone ticket touting. We strongly recommend that you do not buy tickets from touts or unofficial sales agents as these may not be for the correct side of the stadium and may also be counterfeit, which will not allow you entry into the stadium. Police will be patrolling the areas used by ticket touts and will arrest touts seen selling or attempting to sell matchday tickets.

LFC will provide a number of our own stewards to work with Wembley staff on the day of the game.

Lost Tickets:

Wembley Stadium will take an ‘investigative’ approach to any supporter who claims to have lost their match day ticket. If a supporter finds that their ticket has been mislaid then they should approach a member of stadium staff who will direct them to the ticket office. Each incident will be looked at individually and details of the ticket with proof of purchase will be required. Supporters are advised not to show their tickets until they are about to enter the stadium. There have been incidents in the past where tickets have been snatched out of people’s hands whilst walking up to the stadium. Please keep your tickets safe at all times.

Legislation on Ticket Touts:

Under the Criminal Justice & Public Order Act, it is an offence under Section 166 of the Criminal Justice & Public Order Act 1994 for an unauthorised person to sell, or offer or expose for sale, a ticket for a designated football match in any public place to which the public has access or, in the course of a trade or business, in any other place. This provision has also recently been extended to include internet sales.

Supporters Flags:

Flags must not be larger than 250cm at their widest or longest section and flagpoles should not be longer than 1m.
