Liverpool FC is delighted to announce that the free cycle hub, which ran throughout the 2015-2016 campaign, will continue this season with supporters cycling to Anfield receiving a loyalty card from the club.

Reds fans will receive a loyalty card which is stamped at each game, with every supporter that receives two stamps being entered into a prize draw to win LFC cycling goodies.

Once a supporter receives five stamps, they will then entered into a prize draw to win a signed shirt.

Supporters are being encouraged to cycle to and from Anfield on matchdays with a whole host of prizes on offer to those who do so.

The LFC Cycle Hub allows fans who cycle to the stadium to drop off and park their bike safely and securely with an attendant at Stanley Park car park on Priory Road.

The service is open three hours prior to kick-off and will close one hour after the final whistle with attendants from cycling projects volunteers on hand to assist fans with the parking and retrieving of their bikes.

Fans can get to the match from £1.80 with Merseyrail and take advantage of dedicated areas for their bikes on the train. Supporters are encouraged to cycle from nearby stations such as Kirkdale.

Andrew Parkinson, operations director at the club, said: "We are pleased to able to continue LFC Cycle Hub for the new season as this has proven to be a big success with supporters.

"The popular service makes it easier for fans to travel to Anfield on a matchday and offers alternative transport options."

The Cycle Hub will be available from Saturday when the Reds welcome reigning Premier League champions Leicester City to Anfield for their first home game of the season.
