LFC's Red Neighbours team paid a visit to the Bridge Community Centre in Anfield recently to hand over a special delivery of Liverpool shirts.

The centre, which is run solely by volunteers, supports local residents with a variety of backgrounds and needs - providing training and employment opportunities whilst striving to tackle social isolation.

In support of their great work in the community, the Red Neigbours team visited the centre to meet members of the group and provide them each with an unused LFC home shirt from the 2015-16 season.

Volunteer Su Carson Benson said: "Many of our service users suffer mental health problems or have disabilities, and the Red Neighbours visit had a huge impact on them.

"They were all smiling from ear to ear and couldn’t believe they were receiving a shirt from LFC.

"Such a small gesture made a huge difference to the service users and we can’t thank Red Neighbours enough."
