Video: When Ronnie Moran returned to Melwood
Ronnie Moran retired in 1998 but remained a regular visitor to Melwood for many years – and a special LFCTV feature joined 'Mr Liverpool' on such an occasion in 2013.
Moran, who dedicated 49 years of his life to the Reds cause as captain, coach, caretaker manager and more, passed away at the age of 83 on Wednesday morning.
In the short video filmed several years ago, we accompanied Ronnie on a walk around the training ground – including a chat with Steven Gerrard – as he humbly reflected on his own remarkable work there.
