Ahead of Liverpool taking on West Ham United at London Stadium, check out these fascinating pre-match facts from club statistician Ged Rea.

The Reds have lost just nine of their last 56 league meetings with West Ham home and away, but have been beaten in three of the last five clashes.

Liverpool have managed to keep just two clean sheets in their last 17 league visits to the Hammers.

LFC have lost their last two league visits to West Ham - they were last defeated in three consecutive trips between 1997 and 1999.

Liverpool's biggest away wins over West Ham came when they earned a 5-1 victory in September 1965 and a 4-0 success in January 1976. They suffered their heaviest defeat at Upton Park in September 1930, losing 7-0.

There has not been a league draw between the teams in the capital since 2001-02.

The Reds' last win over West Ham came in January 2015 when Raheem Sterling and Daniel Sturridge scored in a 2-0 Anfield victory.

James Milner missed a Liverpool penalty for the first time last Sunday after scoring with all of his first 10. He has netted seven out of eight from the spot this season.

A victory today will see the Reds record 10 away wins in a league campaign for only the second time in the last eight seasons and for only the fifth time since they last won the league in 1990.

The last two away victories - away at West Brom and Watford - have come courtesy of a 1-0 scoreline. The last time Liverpool won three consecutive away games by the same score was between September and October 1904 when Lincoln, Barnsley and Burnley were beaten 2-0.

No team in the Premier League era has reached 70 points after 36 games and subsequently failed to finish in the top four.

West Ham have won seven, drawn four, and lost seven of their home league games this season. Sunday's game is the Hammers' final fixture of the campaign at the London Stadium.

At home this season, Slaven Bilic's team have scored just 19 times - only Middlesbrough, Sunderland and Southampton have netted fewer in front of their own fans.

Vic Watson is the only West Ham player to have ever scored a hat-trick against Liverpool, having netted four in a 7-0 win in September 1930. Three Liverpool players have scored hat-tricks away to the Hammers - Roger Hunt in 1965, John Toshack in 1976 and Michael Robinson in 1983.

Bilic has won four of his seven meetings with Liverpool as a manager with the Hammers and Besiktas, losing just once. He has won all three home games against the Reds and is unbeaten in the Premier League with two wins and a draw.
