Jürgen Klopp has billed Liverpool's post-season friendly in Sydney on Wednesday as an opportunity to celebrate a successful campaign in style.

Fresh from securing a top-four finish and a place in the Champions League qualifiers for next term, the Reds have jetted out to Australia for their final fixture of 2016-17.

Supporters down under will get a rare glimpse of Klopp and co up close when they run out at the ANZ Stadium to face Sydney FC, while club legends Steven Gerrard, Steve McManaman, Jamie Carragher and Daniel Agger are also set to play a part.

And the boss is viewing this special game as a chance to bring a memorable end to what has been a season of progress for LFC.

"I'm already really looking forward to how they react now," he told Liverpoolfc.com.

"We go in the stadium and 80,000 Liverpool supporters are there and they are the first who can really celebrate the good season with us.

"Let's do it together with all these quality players plus legends - a few of them can play because after the last game and the flight we will see how we can line up.

"It will be nice even though it's quite intense because it could have been worse, we could have used bicycles to get over!

"It's all good, it feels good, the mood is good."

Tickets for Wednesday's game are available here, while the match will also be broadcast live on LFCTV and LFCTV GO.
