Liverpool can sign FC Cologne's Timo Horn for just £7million if they complete the deal before the end of this month.

The Reds have been linked with the German goalkeeper as Jurgen Klopp assesses his options between the sticks.

Horn recently admitted he would discuss his future at the end of the season, saying: "I have a long contract [until 2019] in Cologne and my heart is in Cologne.

"I think we will talk about it with the manager [Peter Stoger], Jorg Schmadtke and also the goalkeeper trainer and then we will see what comes next.”

And German magazine Kicker claim the 22-year-old has a clause in his contract which allows him to be signed for around £7m.

It is claimed Klopp is interested in Horn and club scouts have repeatedly watched him this season.

Liverpool have already acquired Joel Matip and young Serbian Marko Grujic for next season.
