Geoffrey Kondogbia's agent has claimed he has held transfer talks with a number of managers about the Inter Milan midfielder.

Kondogbia has fallen out of favour at Inter Milan and has made just 10 league starts for the Serie A giants.

The arrival of Roberto Gagliardini on loan from Atalanta last month has pushed him further down the pecking order.

And according to Kondogbia's agent and brother Evans, he has already held talks with three 'great coaches' about taking him away from the San Siro.

“When things weren’t going well for him at Inter, three great coaches called me," Evans told French magazine SoFoot.

“When he was experiencing that situation with Frank de Boer, I asked him what had happened and he replied, ‘nothing, he’s a good coach, I just didn’t fit in his plans’.

“He was really calm and so was I because I know that he’s a world-class player."

Liverpool and Chelsea were both linked with moves for Kondogbia last month and reportedly made their interest known to Inter.

Magazine France Football claimed the Premier League sides had looked at the 23-year-old, although he was not a top-priority signing.

However, Kondogbia's agent believes he is one of the best midfielders in his position, second only to Manchester United's Paul Pogba.

“I’ve seen them say that he’s done poorly at Inter, yet I’ve read his statistics on dribbling, successful passes and recovered balls," Evans added.

“Pogba is the best in the world in his position, Geoffrey comes after him, alongside Toni Kroos and Sergio Busquets.

“They are guys who make their teams play, win back many balls but don’t score much.”
