Mahmoud Dahoud has reportedly decided to join Borussia Dortmund, rejecting a move to Liverpool.

The Borussia Monchengladbach ace has been a target for Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp since last summer.

And with less than 18 months left on the Germany U21 international's contract, an £8.5million cut-price deal at the end of the season was possible.

But according to local Dortmund outlet Waz, the 21-year-old has opted to join Dortmund next season.

It is claimed Dahoud has committed to a move to the Westfalenstadion over Liverpool due to a desire to remain in Germany.

The midfielder has made more than 30 appearances for Gladbach this season.
