Liverpool have reportedly put Paris Saint-Germain winger Julian Draxler behind first choice Thomas Lemar on their list of potential targets to replace Barcelona new boy Philippe Coutinho.

Lemar is the name on Merseysiders’ lips with Liverpool heavily linked with the Monaco ace when it looked as though Coutinho would leave last summer.

It seems Jurgen Klopp and co. have a contingency plan in place in case the Ligue 1 giants refuse to part with their prized asset though.

According to Transfer Market Web, Liverpool are targeting Germany international Draxler as well.

The 24-year-old is potentially available as PSG look to comply with Financial Fair Play (FFP) regulations.

And it’s said that he may be interested in swapping the Parc des Princes for Anfield.

Lemar and Draxler are not the only players Liverpool have been credited with interest in.

Klopp apparently has his eye on Leicester playmaker Riyad Mahrez and West Ham No 10 Manuel Lanzini too.

Liverpool are also thought to be trying to bring forward Naby Keita’s arrival from RB Leipzig.

Meanwhile, Klopp’s men are currently in the midst of a 17-match unbeaten run in all competitions.

They return to Premier League action against runaway leaders Manchester City on Sunday.
