Manchester United and Liverpool are reportedly keeping tabs on Tottenham star Victor Wanyama.

Manchester United are keen to bolster their midfield ranks at the end of the season to try and close the gap to Manchester City.

Marouane Fellaini is expected to leave on a free transfer and Michael Carrick will call time on his playing career.

Liverpool are also looking to add more steel to the heart of their team and Wanyama has been identified as the perfect replacement as he continues to shine for Tottenham, claims the Mirror.

Spurs’ lack of silverware in recent years could lead to a number of top performers searching for other clubs if the drought continues.

And the Kenyan could be one player who seeks a transfer.

Chelsea are also said to be interested in the defensive-midfielder as Antonio Conte has previously spoken of his admiration for the 26-year-old.

However, Tottenham have no intention of cashing in on any of their prized assets.

Meanwhile, the Mirror add that Spurs will make a move for Borussia Dortmund icon Marco Reus.

The German is continuing to stall on a new deal and will only have a year left on his contract come the end of the season.
