Liverpool are keen to sign Marouane Fellaini and have offered the Manchester United midfielder a three-year deal, according to a stunning report from L'Equipe.

Belgium star Fellaini has endured a mixed spell at Old Trafford since signing from Everton in 2013, winning the FA Cup and Europa League but failing to win over a large number of United fans.

His spell at the Theatre of Dreams appears to be drawing to a close, however, and he is expected to leave the club in the summer after rejecting multiple offers to extend his contract.

A number of European and Chinese clubs are said to be interested in securing his services, but L’Equipe claim Liverpool have moved for the 30-year-old and offered him a deal.

Fellaini did not play a single game for United in February due to injury and has missed the last two games because of what is believed to be a knee problem.

Reports in France say French giants Paris Saint-Germain and Monaco are keen to sign Fellaini but will face major competition from Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool.
